Adrian Warwick

Songwriter, lyricist and poet, who has a string of hits to his name, including consecutive No1s in the classical charts, Adrian, who lives in mid Essex with his wife, Jo, co-wrote the song and lyrics for the powerful War Horse Memorial anthem, A Million Tears. He says he is honoured to have become a special Ambassador for War Horse Memorial.

“This is such a worthy cause. The purple poppy symbolises animals lost in war but by remembering them through the sale of pin badges we are able to support organisations that currently help worthwhile animal and military causes. I hope our song will resonate with people across countries and help generate vital funds.”

Adrian wrote the lyrics and melody for the 2015 Help for Heroes single, I Wonder Where He Is Now, sung by Gary Chilton, the former lead singer of the platinum selling group, The Soldiers. Adrian also co-wrote the lyrics with Grahame Maclean for the iTunes classical crossover No1 single titled By My Side, composed by Olga Thomas and sung by leading UK Soprano Joanna Forest. Olga Thomas then asked him to pen the lyrics to another of her compositions, again sung by Joanna Forest. The track, Flowers on the Doorstep, went straight into the iTunes classical chart at No1.
