Patrick the pony runs for Mayor
STANDING FOR MAYOR: Patrick, wearing his poppies, is making the running for office
A petition is underway in Cockington to make Patrick the Celebrity Pony and our official War Horse Memorial mascot, Mayor of the Devon village.
More than 130 locals have signed the online petition and support is growing. Patrick, a miniature Shetland who is just seven hands high and enjoys a pint at The Drum Inn village pub, is a fully trained therapy pony and has a his own YouTube channel. He live with the Petrakis family and Kirk and Hannah act as our Ambassadors. Kirk says: “We believe Patrick would be a brilliant pony Mayor for Cockington, being non-judgemental and genuinely caring and supportive to all.”
